Aksara Notes does NOT collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers. All information you create within the app remains exclusively on your device.

Data Stored Locally:

• Notes and their content
• Custom database tables and records
• Calendar events
• App settings and preferences
• Master password (encrypted)
• PIN protection settings

2. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption: All data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption algorithms
• Master Password: Your master password is never stored in plain text and cannot be recovered
• Biometric Authentication: Uses your device's secure enclave; no biometric data is stored in the app
• PIN Protection: Additional layer of security for individual notes
• Auto-Lock: Automatic app locking when inactive

3. Data Usage

Your data is used solely for the functionality of the app:

• Displaying your notes and databases
• Providing calendar integration
• Enabling search functionality
• Supporting app features and customization

We do NOT:

• Access your data for any purpose outside the app
• Share your data with third parties
• Use your data for analytics or advertising
• Transmit your data over the internet

4. Third-Party Services

Aksara Notes does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app operates entirely offline and does not require internet connectivity for its core functions.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Data remains on your device until you explicitly delete it
• Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all local data
• Resetting the app due to forgotten password will erase all data
• There is no way to recover data once deleted, as we don't store backups

6. Children's Privacy

Aksara Notes does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is suitable for all ages and maintains the same privacy standards for all users.

7. Permissions

The app requests the following device permissions:

• Biometric/Fingerprint: For biometric authentication (optional)
• Storage: For future backup/restore functionality (coming soon)

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
